Jackpot!  
After three days of shots (once daily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), my white blood cells went from .4 (that's "point four") to 25.5 (not a typo). They needed to be at 1.0 or above for my chemo treatment. Needless to say, I got my chemo treatment today. I'll have a few days to recover (mild side effects), then a scan a week from today...which is already giving me anxiety. Work is busy, so that keeps my mind busy...

actually this drug has mild side effects...mostly fatigue, my appetite is normal so my weight is not an issue..got lucky there...heard you had a good trip! Welcome back to the cyber world!

Thanks! It was fun spending time with my grown-up kids. We got to play trivia at one of the pubs a few times and just enjoyed the down time. Drank a lot more than usual but hey, that's what vacations are for.
